NewSpace Entertainment is an independent presenter of live theater and concerts with over 25 years of experience presenting events throughout North America.
NewSpace Entertainment manages a Broadway subscription series in Salt Lake City, Akron, Albuquerque, Boise, Colorado Springs, Eugene, Fresno and Kalamazoo and has presenting experience in more than 50 North American markets from Bangor, Maine to Honolulu, Hawaii, from Vancouver, British Columbia to Melbourne, Florida.
John Ballard, Steve Boulay and Bruce Granath, partners in NewSpace Entertainment, have worked together since 1987 when The Space Agency moved to Salt Lake City.
In January, 2007 John Ballard announced that the Utah-based business would return to its independent roots. “We are very excited to have this opportunity. The name NewSpace Entertainment is a nod to our past and a commitment to the future. We will present the best national tours as an independent company while continuing our long-standing relationship with Live Nation/Broadway Across America as partners in the Zions Bank Broadway Across America – Utah series.
As Space Agency, Magicworks Entertainment, SFX Entertainment, Clear Channel Entertainment and Live Nation, the veteran staff in Salt Lake City has presented a wide variety of entertainment including Aerosmith, BB King, Janet Jackson, Les Miserables, David Copperfield, the Kirov Ballet, David Sedaris and The Phantom Of The Opera.
