Located in Downtown Omaha, the Orpheum underwent a major $10 million renovation in 2002 and the ornate splendor of this magnificent theater was enhanced to better serve patrons and artists. A cornerstone of Omaha’s cultural history, this former vaudeville house was constructed in 1927. Recent renovations have restored its ornate splendor - and enhanced acoustics and views. From downtown:
Take Dodge Street to 16th Street and turn south. The Orpheum Theater is located on the east side of 16th street between Harney and Howard Streets.
From interstate:
Follow I-80 to I-480 and take the 14th Street (Qwest Center) exit. Go straight and turn west on Dodge Street. Follow Dodge Street to 16th Street and turn south. The Orpheum Theater is located on the east side of 16th street between Harney and Howard Streets.
